Who's worse Tony M. or Larry Graham?

Who do think has been worse for Prince's career?

I really can't stand Tony M. His rapping ruined so many good Prince songs.

Look - on some days, i feel bad too.
But i am always and forever willing to help others.
It`s just that in this case i really don`t know how to give you
an answer.

Well here`s one. Let`s see what you can do with it.

Tony M.

I never thought I'd be able to truly detest a prince song 'til that man opened his mouth

As far as Larry goes, no comment.

What are you people talking about Tony M. is the baddest rapper in the history of rap! That's why Run DMC aren't together anymore because once Tony M. showed up on the scene they knew he was gonna ruin their career. So they did the smart thing and retired before Tony M. could show them up and embarrass them.

So it didn't have anything to do with Jam Master Jay being murdered then? lol

Well, ask this:

You may not like a few songs that Tony M did, but did Tony M's influence PREVENT him from playing some songs, and singing about certain things?

I'm not at liberty to comment on that at this time.

I don't think Tony M. had any influence on the shrimps career. He was just there to add that rap influence. And using that term on him is being VERY broad. He was horrible. Larry on the other hand has had a big role in P's life and music, so he's done more than the rapping fool.

And as I've stated on MULTIPLE occasions here, if P never raps again, it will be too soon. Stick to what you do well bra.

LG gets my vote. Tony M was just another band member etc etc LG is controlling P's life hence his worda and music. Like a voice that sits on his shoulder.

How happy was Prince during Lovesexy. He had found his own way with his own understanding of religion and that is all religion is, your OWN beliefs and faith. Lovesexy is the one 'till my day is done. Bah, I wish it was. This whole JW stuff is freakin me out.

Come back Prince, put your name back upon your thigh, be who YOU are. I miss you.

Ridiculous. Larry deserves more respect. First of all, Prince's career never got bad so there is nothing to blame Larry or anyone else about. His genius and control is simply to great for one person to ruin his thing.

Neither ...

when Prince decided he could still do it all by himself in 1989 ... that's when he started to ruine his career.

When he got his band together for the nude-tour a couple of month later ... yes the fuckin' NPG ... he was totally lost ... it's not due to Tony ... Prince hired all those silly wankers.

Tony is just a silly clown ... Rosie G ... she had a real bad impact.

Gold Nigga VS GCS2000.

I'll take Gold Nigga thanks, unless I need a good laugh, then I'll dig out GCS2000.

Larry's voice is hilarious, a couple of octaves lower and he's be able to induce involuntary bowel movements in the listener.

I agree with everything else you said, when he started go really insular after PP opened and cut off his management and staff etc 88/89 that when things started to turn.

I know he serves more respect, but I have to go with Larry too. As far as I'm concerned, Larry ruined to some extent Prince's way of thinking and living.

Tony, I never disliked so much as most of you seem to do. I like D&P and Love Symbol album even more. I even like The Sacrifice of Victor video, with Tony in it.

Prince was a real bad ass back then; I remeber hearing My Name Is Prince on the radio for the first time. It was the shit!

That's just my personal taste ... I dislike her voice and the tunes she's singing ... especially "nothing compares to u". But to me, she fucked up the D&P albums too.
