It's deep. I loved that boot remix that came out earlier this year "You know, you're the classic example of the inverse ratio between the size of the mouth and the size of the brain"

"I was talking stuff, in a violent room. Fighting with lovers past."
Sounds like a jam we've all been in once or twice. Take a bath with your pants on and all the fighting will stop...LOL...if only it were that easy.

Janfriend THANK YOU FOR MAKING THIS THREAD
I agree!! Linn drum rat-ta-tat-tat-tat!!! Favorite part of the SOTT album! This is the kind of programming that changed the sound of electronic music. Did y'all ever hear the De La Soul Buhloone outtake that sampled the intro? (I think it's called "Lovely How My Mind Floats") About "Ballad" chords.. I read an academic essay analyzing this song once a looong time ago and someone was saying that the chords were dissonant.. seems to me they are on a detuned synth?

interesting, I never heard that De La Soul outtake, but I'm interested now
About the sound being dissonant...I'll have to check that out. I never paid attention that deeply

For those looking for it("Lovely How My Mind Floats"), It was the B-side single of "Ego Trippin' Part 2" and uses the sample brilliantly. It was only on this single as far as I know. It didn't feature on "Buhloone Mindstate" (where the A-side came from), which everyone MUST check out, That album is like Hip Hop's "Around The World In A Day", every Prince fan would love it. Even has guest appearence from Maceo Parker Xperience the Peach & Black Podcast: http://peachandblack.podbean.com/
