it was only released on cassette and CD (and yes it's official).

He asked for $1, I gave $4, so I got 4 tapes. He never said we would get anything for our charity, but he just sent them out. Was really nice of Prince. Too bad he hasn't been as charitible since then. He also started a CD tree by giving a few ppl the original or CDr copy of the War and they would burn them for ppl for free. I was one of the ppl that got it from one of the distributors in the tree. He then sold CD promos on NPGMC in slip cases, and thats how I got my copy. If you want one, its gonna be pricey. Look on Ebay, you may find it there but be ready to pay a hefty price for it. It may not be worth it since its ONE 25 minute song and it doesn't even come in a jewel case.
