I can't think of many that have all of those talents. Lately, I don't know if they write their own stuff (but I think they do), Linkin Park and Blink 182's music and lyrics are compelling.

I used to love Kate Bush more than Prince. I've been through various phases of: Alan Parsons Project smile Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Tricky, Moloko, Radiohead, ABBA, the Golden Palominos, Angelo Badalamenti, Bernie Worrell/Bootsy Collins etc.

Right now I don't really have a second favourite. Everyone in my household can agree on Prince, so that's what's always playing.

OMG! I can't believe I forgot Frank Zappa - major phase for about 10 years, then my boyfriend took over the obsession to an overzealous degree and took the fun out of it. We broke up and he took the CDs. sad

Absolutely not, I am a big fan of his solo work, I thought "THE KEY" was one of the best albums released in 1995 & it still stands up today unlike a lot of albums from that time. I have heard quite a few of his new tracks & I am looking forward to hearing the new CD.
