I don't know about airbrushed, but... definately a lot of make-up. Man, I used to love that style... his clothes, his demeanor... mmm, mmm, mmm.

I also used to snicker at the "1" in "1999" made to look like a penis...

There is some airbrushing going on, but not a terrible amount. He is wearing make-up of course, but as for the eyes...he supposedly has green eyes and I think the light might have caught them in the right way to give him the appearance we see here.

Oh and

extremely airbrushed!! If you have the poster, take a look at the studs and buttons on his coat, they are practically painted on.

I always thought this was just an illustration. But it started as a photograph which got airbrushed on top. It's NICE though, I had it as a poster.

If you look carefully you can see a number of differnces suc as the hairline and his eye direction.
