I became a fan in 1984 and first saw Prince in concert in 1990 in the Nude tour in Tokyo, Japan at the Big Egg.

I would have LOVED to have seen Prince play in 1980-81 before he was really famous in a smaller club.

Anyone see him back then?

i have two dm shows on video, but that's as close as i've come to seein any. i was born around the time that tour was goin on, so no testimonial from me

The only reason I missed the Dirty Mind concert in '80 or 81? was that I heard his tour (if I remember correctly it had something with the word 'Dinosaur' in the announcement??) was cancelled. OMG! I was pretty young back then but had already the Dirty Mind album and was totally into Prince.

I was a fan during this era and I regret that I missed a "Dirty Mind" show.
