James Brown/Aretha Franklin - Prince remix

OK, need your advice.

I've seen the CD single of James Brown/Aretha Franklin duet with a Prince remix going for £5.

Thing is...CD's suck ass. I want a vinyl version. It's from 1989, so I presume there is a vinyl of the single but does it have the P mix. Does it go for stupid money?

Yes there are vinyl versions of it. Uptown says the remix is called Extended mix or remix or Purple mix, depending on the format. There's a 12" on ebay curretly for sale: #2571117650

It's a JB&AF duet. The 12" and 5"cd feature a 10+ minutes remix by "Paisley Park" shhh

I'm playing it right now. I found it in a used wrecka sto a few years back for $3 or so.

Side 1 is the "EXTENDED REMIX" [ADI-9885-SA]; 10:44; remix and additional production by Paisley Park.

It definitely has that Prince-1989ish sound to it. But I wouldn't pay too much for it if I were you. You'll listen to it once or twice and put it in storage.
