Lets Work 12 inch... part live!

Something i hadn't know before.. probably old news though!

According 2 PaisleyPark9 (Site Admin of The NPG Music Club):
"On the xtended version of "Let's Work" Morris Day (of The Time) plays the drums on the second half of the tune (the 4 on the floor house section). He and PRINCE switched LIVE as the tape was rolling during the kickdrum breakdown."

Very Interesting. It was the 12" that made this song really grow on me. Before I heard it, I though the album version was a simple funk filler.
