I fell like i was riped of with buying prince's new album "N.E.W.S" Today at about 5 hour's ago...$17.20 For 4 song's & no word's...If anything good came out of this buy,it was just collecting something of his that he put out as a collector's item...that's it!...It's sad That that's all he offered us all...Elavator music...

Iv been asking all around & not knowing when the album was come out & then a big let down in the end with 4 speechless song's for 17 buck's...those are the type's of dollor's you pay for 10 to 15 song's with word's & even then you only pay 14 to 16 buck's for word song's!...

I was hopeing for some kinda extra stuff on the cd sence it only had 4 Long!!! 14 to 15 min!!! song's without word's...I pop it in my pc & it bring's my microflash up for some reason,so i thouth there was something extra because that aint my player for my cd's...Just very disapointed..bye

supernova, if you weren't so busy with your need to defend Prince's every action you would see that MRDREAMFACTORY was only speaking for himslef but about a product that was offered to us all. there's a difference. count how many "I's" are in his post to how many "we's" and "us's" and it is quite evident who he is speaking for.

and Sdldawn, an extra special for trying to be too good to participate...by participating. the very kind of hypocrisy only a Prince fan could exibit. is it actually that big a deal he didn't know.

content of N.E.W.S. If you really didn't like it that much, just
take it back to the store you bought it from and change it for
something else.

It's worth listening to News a few times before you dump it because as a few of us have discovered (or as I have discovered anyway ) it's a real grower. You might discover that you enjoy it despite having no lyrics.

prince is trying to STRETCH musically on news. he wants u 2 listen 2 the music not 2 words, thus the lack of singing. I think he is trying 2 make the point that he is an amazing and influential musician and not just a pop icon.
Prince, if you read this, the point is well taken. If I ever see news performed live I will be happy to hear it performed "FREE", like the aftershows. News is music in evolution and it should live just like that.
If you want pop and lyrics Prince gave you plenty of that and I think that the upcoming album with Musicology will have plenty of that 4 ya face!! News is what it is and if u can't enjoy, don't buy it or return it!
