Me too. Once I turned it up and let myself get carried away by it, I never came back. The Normal Whores Club

Put me down, too. I've always loved this song. It may be my favorite tune from Emancipation.

All the fellas say ruff if you're only giving up the bone.

I love it too. It's one of my favourite Prince's song. I love the Kat Disyon guitar work, the bass line, the strings, the drum programming...
Bue especially... you know, his voice.

I like it alot too, one of the few religious songs whose lyrics I actually like. Unfortunatly, there ain't no savior coming anytime soon, and the smack reference comes completly out of nowhere. Still, that's a pretty damn small quibble.

I was writen for a fallen friend (from smack) thats why he says "put down the needle, put down the spoon" All the gals say hoe if your man's giving up the gold. All the fellas say ruff if you're only giving up the bone.

Best song on Emancipation.
The line is important too. So many times, when we pray it's asking for something - help, forgiveness, direction, things, blessings. A prayer that asks for nothing, but instead gives thanks is something special indeed.
