an apology to Purple Rain

I can't find my Purple Rain cd.I must have left it at a friends house months ago...I think I need to buy a new one. I have only had one cd of Purple Rain and I bought that used (ducks)...but I realize the power of that soundtrack now. I apologize to you PR for not giving you th e time of day as other cvd releases..even though I have always appreciated you when I listened every 6 months or so..PR music is timeless...it seems un-categorizable..Computer Blue never ages..or if it does..it ages quite well..still sounds fresh and new...like a virgin.

If the movie never existed would it be safe to say that this was one of his best most powerful albums? I think so!

Purple Rain is the perfect pop album. It's tight, focused, has great experimentations that don't become overindulgent, and has a little bit of everything. I Love it from beginning 2 end!!!
