Really? Hmm... Yeah, Ive never muched cared 4 it really. Its a cool song I admit but as a youth I found it quite borish at 1st which has been difficult 2 shake ever since. However the live version from One Nite Alone..Live I think is great and shows just how good the track actually is. I guess I'll have 2 listen 2 it a few more times 2 get it. ...another thing is The Question of U is 1 of my favorite Prince songs which always seems 2 blow me away so when Im listening 2/listened 2 Graffitti Bridge my thoughts Rnt with the track. See, I've never cared much for The Question Of U. And why does this thread smell of dirty pants? Cuz Uve posted on it Mr. Crusty Kecks! JOY IN REPETITION!!!
The lyrics are sheer poetry. One of his great storytelling songs. The vibe is just too cool. Studio, live...this song can do no wrong!

Well, he performed both live in Denmark during the ONA tour and they were both absolutely amazing. Still Joy in Repetition will always be my favourite ***** There truly is Joy in Repetition *****

Joy In Repetition, the origianl version with the slow, building intro...not the f'd up Graffiti Bridge version.

Both, they are very different, the lyrics are incredible: Joy in repetition is very orginal, and Anna Stesia very introspective.

Joy In Repetition by far simply because of the musical arrangement behind the song. Just listen to the conga drums, the kettle drums and the two distinct separate guitar solos. __________________________________________________

I would say Anna Stesia, but it is hard to accept the "play with anyone boy or girl," I know he is not gay, but lines like that make people question him, maybe thats his intention, to apeal the the homo sexual fanbase.

AS..just for that sybth work that comes immediately after his "Save me Jesus I've been a fool...I shall be quick, I shall be strong..I tell u a story no matter how long no matta matta" speech at 19min 36 seconds...and that synth keyboard plunks going on "during" th e speech is a greta nuance as well...but on the live ONA, JIR kicks AS's ass. "Climb in my fur."
