Someone brought up this song on the discussion about '3 Chains Of Gold'.

Isn't it the darkest thing he's ever done. First time I heard it, I was stunned. It still un-nerves me.

What are your thoughts?

Although "Choirgirl" just ran off with my heart from the
first moment she stepped into my room. She's out of this
world. I consider it a masterpiece, sometimes I even catch

It's weird cuz Choirgirl is where she lost me initially. I loved her first 3 all the way through, but that one just didn't hit me right. Strangely, I took to 'Venus' right away. But you urged me a few times to give it another chance and lately I have. I must say that I was definitely wrong and now I love it fully. The b-sides from Choirgirl are great too! I just had a problem with almost all my alternative favorite's albums that year for some reason. But now I like them all. Thanks for making me rethink my opinion.

I still wonder what the guy was thinking of. Love the song, it should be released in a 7 cd box together with other unreased goodies from that time. And maybe call it "The Bitter Frustration Stops Here"

I love those b-sides as well. "Never Seen Blue" and also
"Purple People/Christmas In Space" are incredible trax...

Or what about "Merman"? It wasn't a b-side for Choirgirl
but it was recorded around that time. Beautiful!

I always giggle like a girl when I picture Bobby's contortonist uncle wrapping his neck around that piece of string.
Guy should have been in the circus. Maybe that happy carefree life would have saved him from suicide. Just my on the matter.

that's scarce these days.

Have you also got the "Scarlet" b-side "Seaside"? That kind
of reminds me of earlier Tori again. Nice vocals.

Oh, and check out the "Muhammed My Friend" remix, I don't
know what it's called but it's rather good.

And "Siren", and "Carnival" from the Mission Impossible
soundtrack! Nearly forgot "Sugar" there, wow wow wow.

I love her too! Now possibly more than ever. She's on Prince's level as far as her singing and playing. Not many can claim that. And her discography is so colorful and solid. I really don't think she's made any major mistakes. I love her b-sides. My favorites are probably "Upside Down", "Sister Janet" and "Flying Dutchman". Others is definitely as song for Halloween. It's scary, but enticing.

But on a cold lonely night, when there's just you in the dark, don't play this song. I swear you understand exactly where he's coming from.

Anyone know the story behind this one. I don't have DMSR or any other reference material at hand right now.
