Didn't Prince once say, "music should be free?"

People have tried to control music with special technology that simply hasn't worked and won't work.

There will always be an aspect of music that will remain free for those who seek it. Are they crooks ? Or just smart consumers who love music but are trying to make it through trouble times...and are also sick of the price gouging and quality of material?

If you want to buy something, that is otherise...FREE. Then go ahead. I am personally sick of wasting my dollar. Especially on half ass material .

I am not going to lie and kiss Prince's and tell him I don't collect unreleased music or that I don't own MPEGS that I don't have the acompanying CD.

I think its ridiculous the extent that we in the Prince community go to say we don't collect, buy or trade unreleased music. When we know very well that 99.9% of us do and just don't admit it .

To not be able to talk about it, because of fear of reprisal from Prince. Is also absurd.

We are ultimately, only lieing to ourselves. And in the end, we are the ones who get burnt !
