Prince and Saturday Nite Live I just saw SNL with Justin Timberlake hosting and perrforming and it was funny as hell. I'm not a fan of his music in anyway, but the kid was actually funny.
Anyway, Prince, being the silly bastard that he is, should most definetly do this show. Now than ever people could see that he is a very cool and funny performer. Then he could rock the hell out of them with some serious music. What do u fools think? | |

he's been on it twice: '81 (performed "partyup") and '89 (performed "electric chair"). both are sweet to watch.

The only time he did actually participate in any comedy sketches for a show was when he was on David Letterman to perform Dolphin and he participated in a comedy skit at the beginning of the show with Paul Schaffer if I can remember!! | |

He did a funny thing with Leno on the Tonight Show where Leno tried to fool him at the studio gate after he had faked Leno out on the phone earlier. What did he do on Letterman? I don't remember that. (I'm too lazy to go back to my tapes right now.) Never trust anything spoken in the presence of an erection.

Not sure if it was scripted or not. I think a piece of it is cut out on my vid. And, PS... I have never gotten so much attention over an avatar. obviously family guy was a smart choice. That's what I'd like to have: a DVD version of the Muppets Tonight episode. They're making "The Muppet Show" DVDs, so maybe they'll make "Muppets Tonight" DVDs in the future.  NCC2012... your local Trekkie. =/\=

I'd like to have the Muppet's show episode, period. I did see them advertising a Muppet show collection with special guests, but none of the advertisements included the time Prince guest spotted on the show. Wish they would release specific episodes. My little cousin would get a kick out of it as well. | |

I'd like to have the Muppet's show episode, period. My little cousin would get a kick out of it as well. "The Muppet Show" was around 25 years ago. "Muppets Tonight" was around 10 years ago. They're different shows. Only a few of the "The Muppet Show" episodes have been released on DVD. That's the advertisement you saw from TimeLife Video. As far as "Muppets Tonight", they have yet to put a single episode on DVD (as far as I know). When and if they do, the Prince appearance was in the second season (episode 206), so we'd all have to wait a while if they go in order.
