Let's talk about the genius of 17 days One of the best b-sides 2 ever exsist (from any artist) !
What makes it so specail though? The guitar riff in this jam or the lyrics ? Whatever it is, this was most definetly when Prince was making magic with his music. Somebody needs 2 piss him off again and break his heart so he can get back 2 makin' kick ass music like this again  . BTW does a extended version of this exsist song? I've been looking 4 it ...

Everything about it rocks and funks and everyting else. Possibly his best track and its shocking to me that this never became a single (I guess it really didn't fit an album). A Prince classic from the funky bass (or is it drum machine?) intro to the end with Susan chripping "17 Days". | |

Tidbit: Atthe end of Purple Rain, right after he sings the title song and comes back..he goes up the lil steps to the stage and picks up the tambourines..some fella next to us stated "17 Days..next is gonna be 17 Days"..and he got me hyped thinking he was gonna do 17 Days too...but alas he did I Would Die 4 U etc. We felt a little bit cheated.
