A very special fun album, I love it, Can't play it for people because of all the Cursing, but for mature audiences its a hit. Wish he would do more like this.

There's too damn little git-tar playing on it! Imagine Exodus with a generous splashing of Hohner. Now THAT would have been a great album.

It takes 3 is an example of when a song deserves to be an outtake.

A great, fun, & funky album. Just a blast to listen too. Return of the Bump Squad is the highlight for me. Everyone I have ever played this for loves it too. The only tune I am not crazy over is Cherry Cherry...a bit too cheesy for me. But he definitely should have released this in the US I think it would have done pretty well.

I wish they'd included the Love Thy Will Be Done outtake. That was a wicked version they did. Also the version Prince was playing live during this time absolutely kicked arse out of everything else he was doing at the time, it was brilliant.

because of the spiritual theme of that song i think it would so have NOT fitted the EXODUS album. maybe on EMANCIPATION...

Agreed. Do you think that was possibly his intention, but instead he replaced it with One Of Us. It has very similar music to Love Thy Will Be Done, and continues the spiritual theme. Much as i think he did an okay job with One Of Us, Id have loved to have a studio verion of Love Thy Will Be Done.
