DO any of you guys have this album? and is it any good?

I can buy it for £40 and i was just wondering if its worth the money.

Either buying that or "she loves me for me" promo

i think it is better than the original Rave
but dont pay 40 quid for it i got the Alladin DvD and Rave from npgmc for £25.

Well, did you like the regular version of the album?

Personally I prefer the 'remix' album to the 'normal' one,
but there's not a huge amount of difference between them.
So if you hated the regular version, you ain't gonna be
blown away by the remix album (half the versions are the
same anyway).

The Remix Album is worth the money for "Beautiful Strange" alone.

The only thing I dislike about "Rave In2" is the remix of the title song (they sould've left it alone)...the rest is GREAT!

I think the remix album is far superior to the Arista version. Some of the mixes are silly, and some of the "extended versions" are hardly anything to crow about, but in my opinion, the whole thing flows FAR better than what came out in '99, and it's a lot more loose and fun. I've listened to this disc more than I've listened to TRC and ONA combined.

IMO the remix album is far superior! nevertheless rave is not one of my favourates!

Yes, Rave The Remix is well worth getting, but NOT for that kind of money.

It really is worth getting IMO the longer versions are great especially Tangerine. I always felt it was 2 short on Rave un2. Beautiful Strange is a great track and the remixes of Man O War and Undisputed are far superior 2 the originals.

I guess its needed for a true Prince fan, but its not great.. the disapointment of the orig. Rave track not bein on their killed the moment, and its silly to call those tracks "extended" when its like a 45 second outro.. The ad read as different versions, remixes and extended versions.. thats all correct, but in a typical "r&b" kindof way... its something I would expect from a general artist that makes music from a cookie cutter.

I love the longer version of Greatest Romance that's featured, and Beautiful Strange is a nice addition, but that's all that really adds to my enjoyment of the album really... I prefer the original album only because I think the original version of "Man O War" is far superior, and also like the original "Hot With U" and "Undisputed" just a little bit better.

Do what I did though, and mix both albums to include your favorites off each one and have one superior Rave album.
