Just look at the track-list: Do It All Night, Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad, Gotta Broken Heart Again, Broken, When You Were Mine, Sexy Dancer, Sister, I Wanna Be Your Lover, Head, Still Waiting, Party up, Uptown, Crazy You, Gotta Stop (Messin’ About), Dirty Mind, Everybody Dance, Bambi This show is much better than the city-lights (N.Y. / Paris) ... but the soundquality is so horrible. I also love the show at first avenue at March 8th 1982 (released as dance 2 the beat at Moonraker) .. that's my ultimate concert! If it was only in soundboard ... Sam's 'Crazy You' is one of the best P live performances ever! | |

Id definately want one of the London shows from the nude tour. Cant remember what night exactly (Ive got a bootleg vinyl audience recording at home), and its absolutely amazing.
Whilst it wasnt the most extensive show, there are versions of Bambi and Little Red Corvette and Purple Rain (with a long live 4 love breakdown) that are amazing. There's also the best version of that Do Me Baby / Aint No Way / Nothing Compares 2 U medley. Prince once said he keeps a recording of everything he's ever done. I wonder if he could grant NPGMC members a small request each...a download of a show of your choice...we can only dream. | |

any gig is cool to have in soundboard quality...
but let me tell you something... to me personnally, the ONA hamburg cd sounds better than the official release on npgrecords. that is because, it has a better live feeling to it. i prefer the mix it has. don`t get me wrong here, i am talking about the sound, not the music. it was a fantastic gig though. but the award goes to...osaka89. probably the gig i want to have in soundboard quality ... ...eh.. ...eh... for sentimental reasons... is frankfurt 88. because it was the first time i`ve ever seen him live. now you know. | |

A little anicdote with regards to Bambi being played live: My friend Oz held up a sign the night before saying "Play Bambi". And behold, the next night the band rip into Bambi for the 1st time in years! So, everybody now knows who to thank for Prince playing this ever since!
