I've not seen an official release date announced.

Amazon (Germany) says "Voodoo Crossing" will be released November 3rd. This is backed up by the info on the German distributor's site (www.zyx.de). It will be released on the Comet label.

Wolf, is Voodoo Crossing the name of a Hendrix tribute album? Is this song supposed to be on there, do you know?

Didn't Prince supposedly record a whole Hendrix tribute album himself, or am I remembering that wrong? Of course, Habibi IS Machine Gun. wink

Hey Wolf - I just rented The Brotherhood of the Wolves. Kinda freaky, huh? Weird.

It's not on there, I'm afraid... and I think the whole thing got a very sad and weird turn sad

After searching some of usual online selling outlets I found none to feature the track list.

What I found rather freaked me out: Apart from the release date which seems to be 21st October over in the US and 3rd November in Europe, well the TRACK LIST HAS CHANGED!

Googling it up, I found two sites having the same list:

http://www.jvcmusic.co.jp...62484.html
http://www.mamaspit.com/V...20page.htm

Track list is:

01. Steve Lukather - Third Stone From The Sun
02. Scott Finch - Castles Made Of Sand
03. Robben Ford - Message To Love
04. Larry Coryell - House Burning Down
05. Jeff Richman - May This Be Love
06. Alessio Menconi - Manic Depression
07. Arlen Roth - Villanova Junction Blues
08. Vic Vergeat - If 6 Was 9
09. Joe Colombo - Red House
10. Hiram Bullock - Voodoo Chile
11. Tony Spinner - Up From The Skies
12. Mark Doyle - Stone Free
13. Pat Travers - I Don't Live Today
14. John Nitzinger - Fire
15. Mike Onesko - Hey Joe
16. Jimi Speaks

Ok. There's someone missing me thinks. Unless he's going under yet another name. And yes, I'm MORE than sure to have seen right THIS title with THIS cover a few months before with the Prince track included ("Purple House"). Yet I'm also quite sure that there were other, more popular (so to say) artists. It has gone under a quite jazzy-bluesy transformation.

Please, someone enlighten me?!? Is there another tribute compilation coming?

Hey Wolf - I just rented The Brotherhood of the Wolves. Kinda freaky, huh? Weird.

Yep! And not bad, taking into account that it's a French movie wink Hey, my beloved French neighbours... don't jump at me... "Aurélie" and "8 Women" were great too. I've seen the "Brotherhood" on the large screen and incidentally, it comes to the small screen for the first time tomorrow.

Now I seriously hope someone tells I mixed up the titles of two compilation albums...

I think that that track list may be for a different tribute album. The one that Prince had recorded for was entitled Power of Soul and featured Santana, Prince and ?uestlove amongst others. I'll find a link and post it
