It is a tad weird that this hasn't been seen for decade - then again there have been stranger cd finds in recent years
It's quite possible this cd has lay hidden all this time, if this is indeed the only one in circulation, then I guess it might just command that price... just! | |

Balls. Would you give six hundred quid to a stranger with no proven track record or feedback for a 'rare' album that no one knew existed?
The description is Bullshit. Pressed up just before the name change? This is clearly a sampler for 'The Hits'. If there was 1 rare track on there it might be worth half the price but no way. Its so nice to see people dumping their collections and sending Prince their bootlegs. I remember 10 years ago when I was searching for this cd everywhere and would have given the left nut for it. I came to my senses in 2000 and sold the collection, I still don't have the cd, but I still have my left nut.  ---------------------------------

This CD is a Japanese promo that did indeed come out around the time "The Hits" CD came out. Some DJs in Japan were asked what their favorite Prince songs were, & they were compiled & given out to radio stations. I know this because my sister was a radio DJ in Japan at the time & her selection was "I Wanna Be Your Lover". All of the songs are the regular versions we all have.
I begged my sister to give me her copy but she refused because her name (along with the other DJs who got to choose the songs) is in the liner notes. She likes to rub in the fact that her name is on a Prince CD & mine isn't!!! | |
