VIP TICKETS

I rang the VIP phone number as presented in the full page ads for the Australian Tour this morning. Recorded message that said the VIP package includes:

* 3 disc CD set

* pre-show sound check

* pre-show party

* vip laminate

* tickets in the first five rows

and for this it costs $392! eek! what does this mean for npgmc members? what are we going to get? razz at what cost? what is the 3 disc CD set? (unsold copies of emancipation perhaps lol)

i guess we just have to wait and see...

I know,I just got off the phone now. I am freaking out now with "what if's". I would pay that price if it means that members are getting worse tickets?? I just don't know what to think.

Is that $392 for one ticket? Or perhaps for yourself and a few friends?

Hi guys,
I just saw that too ... so you have to wait on a phone que to get these tickets , there are so many variables.
Go through the fanclub, camp out do this VIP thingie.

btw I have been lurking here for a while ... finally decided to post.

Hey Funkygal, I am a lurker too. This is the most active I have ever been. I think it is just for one ticket.

Nefertiti smile, I think so too , the problem is I was going to camp out Monday night {Melb} and then also hedge my bets with the fanclub if they have tkts but the VIP thing sounds good too, the only thing that worries me is that phones bookings are a so so thing, being in line on the phone and not knowing how many people are ahead . However if I camp out will the VIP experience be available.

too many options I am getting a migraine.

Surely this is for surplus NPGMC passes as they're are not enough members in each Australian city to take up 5 rows alone. So Prince has probably given the promoter these 'VIP' passes in exchange for the NPGMC getting the first 5 rows...and yes i think the CD would be ONA Live - which most of us already have!

NPGMC members will have no problem...trust me smile

Sounds logical anyway...

Derek.. I am crossing my fingers and legs and everything else that is crossable, except my eyes otherwise my typing would suck that you are right.
Damm when will the fanclub let us know ... I am not a fingernail biter but I think I will be by the time the 30th comes around.

WTF is this shit?

Prince better look after us long suffering NPGMC members. If they are promising first 5 rows what happens to the members?

There was no mention of the NPGMC on the VIP hotline, that's why I started freaking out. I just hope some of the others club members who have bought tickets to his shows fill us in.

i know its not just me feeling this way, but have guys thought about what you are going to do if you miss out on tickets. being a music club member is the only thinking keeping me sane at the moment about getting tickets. since we still have no idea about whats going on the legs are starting to shake

$392.00 is not that bad , I paid $840.00 for the Kiss Symphony as my husband loves Kiss and it was his Xmas present, we got 3rd row but I made sure to run to the front.
It was worth it and I really thought Prince would have been more.

$392?

If it's priced at that, it will look like I will only have enough for those $88 backrow seats! sad

same here, since my girlfriend is paying for them as a birthday gift to me i feel like a dog she has to spend 392 for each ticket. i think the borderline was around 300 like most of us were thinking

I hope the tickets do not cost $400 for a concert. That is too much for a show.

ok,firs of all,this is WAY 2 much for a main show ticket.
2ndly...the extra $230 is WAYYY 2 much for a soundcheck or pre-party.
3rdly...if u were going 2 spend that much,u would b a true fan & have the 3cd set already.

this is crap!
if npgmc tix r this much..i dont know what i am going 2 do.

Sounds logical anyway...

we will have no problem...but does this cost members $380???

i will b a member hopefully later this evening so i can say "we" now! lol

when do they go on sale anyway???

if they cost this much...i will barely b able 2 afford melb & sydney.
my budget will b just fine aslong as they dont start 2 exceed $200...
& he better b playing aftershows 4 that amount of money.

seriously...everyone knows that i am greatful 4 a tour...but not when ur taking advantage of the fans.
ESPECIALLY npgmc members who have handed over plenty of money over the years.

& about derek's point of 'not enuf members in melb,syd & brissy...".... dont 4get that for every member in their city....another will most likely b making the trip from adelaide,or perth or tassie.
so NPGMC tix will definately!..... sell out!

BUT...since those tickets go onsale the same day as general public tickets (next tuesday) ...perhaps they ARE incase of left-over npgmc tickets.
cuz usualy VIP type seats for such huge events go onsale the wednesday or thursday before the other a/b-reserve seatsgo onsale at your box office.

well there is the hoards of members on the Org...plus a couple of people i have noticed at my group (see below weblink) ... & that doesnt incl. all the others.
also the member's guests... (i will b a guest 4 melbourne...but hopefuly using my own membername 4 sydney)

so the member's tix will no doubt sell out.
i just hope that npgmc save the best & ENUF of the best for the members.
