It should have been called the best album covers of popular albums that most vieweres are aware of. They basically just picked the best selling album from each artist and said it was their best album cover. | |

I recall reading a book about the top 100 covers and Lovesexy was chosen. It is still the most original Prince album cover. | |

The Purple Rain cover was at least as good as like a virgin.
Oh, well. It's just more funny lists from VH1.   I think like a virgin is a better album cover than purple rain. It sorta has a classy element to it-as opposed to purple rain's cheap lookin' self. as far as Prince covers go, I'd have to vote on:
Dirty Mind - just for the bed springs, I LOVE IT!!! ATWIAD - wonderful and whimsical SOTT is a phenomenal album and a gorgeous video, but the album cover itself doesnt really amaze me. It brings back memories of a phenomenal concert, but if I saw it simply by itself I wouldnt be impressed. | |
