Definately Midnite Vultures... It reminds me more of SOTT and LoveSexy though. Get Real Paid reminds me a lot of Dance On.

Also, U2's Zooropa. Not really in sound (Although Lemon is supposedly Prince inspired.), but it puts me in the same kinda mood 1999 does.

D'Angelo, Craig David, Lenny Kravitz, and Maxwell. When I heard "Fortunate", I thought that it was Prince. It's still my favorite Maxwell song. "Untitled (or the booty-naked song)" by D'Angelo reminds me of something Prince would definitely sing. But, I loved that video. Prince booty-naked or D'Angelo??? D'Angelo Lenny has always reminded me of a grungier Prince. Who don't like Lenny? Craig David's style is just different; I don't know why he gives me a Prince feel; but, he just does.

Some of the Rolling Stones' funkier tracks feel Prince-like to me; same with some of Frank Zappa's work...

Anything by D'Angelo, Tony Rich, Maxwell, Eric Benet, Musiq or Bilal...none r as good of course.

D'Angelo, Dr. Fink, Sly, James Brown, Julians Ride ( HA, Ha...but TRUE ), Hendrix, some of MJ's tunes & Madonna's. Just off the top of my head 4 now...
