So have we at prince.org officially dubbed "The Rainbow Children" as a new Prince Masterpiece. On par with "Dirty Mind" "1999" "Purple Rain" and "Sign O the Times"?

I rate it as highly as those. But that's just my view.

I totally agree with you on the music. It is perfect. It is sublime. It is great. The bass on this album totally kicks my ass. I am actually sitting here listening to TRC for the first time in two years. Unfortunately, most of my love affair with Prince has been in the words of his songs. I know he probably does not care.
