I don't know who chooses the person to induct someone, but if Prince has his way, it will be someone that the masses don't know too well, like Larry G. However, I would love to see Santana or James Brown do it.

Sugestions Please!! Me first!! Lenny Kravitz lENNY is not a bad choice. It should be someone who is either very eloquent or very passionate about Prince and his legacy.Lenny grew up listening to Prince just like I did.He knows what the man can do and what he represents. Another good choice may be Laurence Fishburne. "I'm a pig..so,magic elixir I swill"

Well, it could be George Clinton, since Prince gave George his induction speech when George was nominated into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame back in the mid to late '90s. It would be nice if George could return the honor. Hey, maybe the two of them could even jam together, that would be great! RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I think Lenny is a good choice. He was very influenced by Prince, as Prince was with George. Sheila would be a good one. cracknbush

Sly would come out of his van down by the river and do it up yo.
But the inductees are always an industry flavor of the month that's up there to subliminally pimp their own shit. So it'll be Justin Timberlake or Blink 182 or some crap like that, who won't even KNOW what the hell they're reading off the teleprompter: "and then he released the genre-bending album Ditty Ming... "Ditty Ming"? is that right? OH - Dirty Mind... containing the hits "Upturn" and "Heal"... The Last Otan Track: www.funkmusician.com/what.mp3

If P decides to show up, my vote would definately go to Sly Stone.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame is as much of a joke as Rolling Stone.
They owe me the price of admission, mileage and an hourly rate for my time and money I spent walking through that bullshit museum. One could fill a book with the artists that are missing from a so called Rock & Roll museum.

George Clinton? Ehhh, I don't know. Can the man put 2 coherent sentences together anymore? If he can, I know he can't do it without barking.

George Clinton? That would not be good. 1.Lawrence Fishburne 2.Arsenio Hall 3.Shelia E. 4.Lenny K. Who ever said Prince has lost it - has lost it. The Kid's still got game!

Sugestions Please!! Me first!! Lenny Kravitz I think its a toss up btween Larry G & Santana. Most likely Santana, as he has the most influence & recognition at the present time! Good choice, IMO. U GO PRINCE! U deserve it!!! May the BELLS ring 4 U even when ur not in love.

I believe Prince should be inducted by someone younger who was influenced by him, like
Dangelo ?uestlove Bilal (maybe) Beck Meshell Vernon Reid (from Living Colour) I don't believe he should be inducted by the people whom influenced him, like Sly or Larry...it just wouldn't seem right to me. Prince should be inducting THEM. but then of course, if Prince acts like he's full of shit and rejects his induction, then all of this moot anyway. ***************************************************
Seems like the overly critical people are the sheep now days. It takes guts to admit that you like something. -Rdhull ...it ain't where ya from, it's where ya at... - Rakim
