Depends on how you would efine "classic" Rdhull. if you mean groundbreaking, innovating, inspirational, orginal, never done before stuff then I would say...: hell no.

If you mean it is an album that has quality music on it and is 10 times better than NPS, rave and 1999 the new master all together then I would say: hell yes.

But you don't mean that and judging it as a classic is by all means subjective, meaning dependend on the personal taste of people. My persoanl taste says that I like the music very much, it rocks and it funks like Prince hadn't done for a long time. This album isn't just about music tho'. After a year or so I have found that it lacks the soul/ feeling and thoughts I was used to feel and think when listening to true Prince classics.
Yes, yes. The feeling is almost clinical.

nod It is, like the production on Rave and NPS. I used to call that 'clinical'. I have mixed feelings about that. I guess many fans do 'feel'it and I would like to believe Prince himself really 'feels' it, but I highly doubt that he was completely truthfull in the expressions of his emotions and thoughts on this album. It feels like there is something missing...
You are not my "friend" because you threaten my security.

its his third classic

1999, SOTT, TRC,

Substitute Parade for SOTT and I agree. SOTT, while a
collection of good/great songs, is not as strong as a whole. The same could be said somewhat for 1999 but the indulgence is great here because it was really when he truly came into his own. 1999 has also aged better than much of SOTT.

I'm just teasing you Cloudbuster. I know you don't like TRC, but I still love it and always will.

TRC-THERE ARE SOME GREAT TRAX ON THIS ALBUM, NO DOUBT. BUT AS ALL CAN SEE THERE ARE ALWAYS 'HATERS' HERE WHO DISLIKE EVERY NEW JOINT PRINCE PUTS OUT, THE FUNNY THING IS THEY ALWAYS MANAGE 2 GET AND HEAR ALL OF PRINCE'S NEW STUFF, NOW WHY DO THESE 'HATERS'KEEP COMING BACK 4 MORE...TIME AFTER TIME...GUESS SOME FOLKS NEED 2 BITCH ABOUT SOMETHING 2 GET ATTENTION  :POP:

Why is it okay to praise everything Prince does, but it's not okay to criticize it?

it's cool 2 criticize ANYTHING, but if u hate something...why would u waste your time, is all I can't understand. like me..I can't stand the Dave Matthews Band...so I WILL NOT buy or download ANY of their music...point blank. I just feel like it's a waste of my time, so I'll leave it alone

What's the difference between constantly posting positive reviews to constantly posting negative reviews? Seems to me it's the same thing. We're just on opposite ends of the spectrum. We both are passionate about our opinions, so we express them.
