wendy and lisa said....... i saw an interview with w+l about 6 months ago , i dont know when it was filmed it could have been 6 years ago who knows.
the int was on ch 4 uk , w+l said they worked with prince at what is supposedly his more creative /cutting edge era , p rain atwiad parade etc. they also said that the material released by prince at this time was him just scratching the surface and the vault was full of so much better material all unreleased. if this is true why has prince gone from selling millions of albums to thousands of albums ?

Yep I saw that interview too
And agree that alot of material of that era that is gathering dust is much better than the released stuff. Why is Prince not selling as much material now as he used to ... Thats an easy question to answer Because he releases what he wants to Even if its mediocre at best Much love Pochacco

Seems like the overly critical people are the sheep now days. It takes guts to admit that you like something. -Rdhull ...it ain't where ya from, it's where ya at... - Rakim

Prince told Kurt Loder in 1999 that some of the Revolution's best work was in the vault. Or maybe he said some of their dirtiest work. Don't remember for sure, but something along those lines. http://elmadartista.tumblr.com/ http://twitter.com/madartista

Yup. I have always believed that. When I think of how truly sick they could have been if they stayed together . . . . . . sorry, I'm just another old head musing about what could have been. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016
