A Case of U VCD (First Ave 03/08/03) I just recently bought this and have read somewhere that some of the songs were supposedly used for the PR album.
I can't see it myself. I know overdubbing can enhamce it a bit but... Anyone dissagree? | |

The performances weren't used in the movie, Prince and the band lipsynched to the studio tracks and some overdubbed and edited live tracks... Some of the songs of this particular concert ("Electric Intercourse", "I Would Die 4 U", "Baby, I'm A Star" and "Purple Rain") formed the basis of the recordings on the "Purple Rain" album (save for "Electric Intercourse" of course)...
