suzie lovelace came across this early, raw prince track. not sure if he's on the mic, when it was recorded and for what project, etc.. anyone??

listened to this the other day, then dug out the boom box sessions from c'76/'77 and couldn't stop playing 'rock me baby' and 'do you wanna ride' at full volume. That boy has always had the funk!!. Dont you think his early instrumentals show great maturity and an awareness of basic jazz forms. | |

just discovered this track listing on cddb.com, but i guess as it's on a Prince boot, it's not guaranteed to actually be a prince track..
