the funniest part of alex hahn's book "Prince forgot to turn on his guitar from the backstage mixing board before stepping on the conveyor belt that ferried him out to his microphone stand. He danced his way to the front of the stage as the band played a groove, only to discover this problem; he then had to flip the conveyor belt into reverse mode and boogey his way backwards. After fixing this glitch, he re-emerged from behind the curtain as his band members snickered."

It is a pretty good book. Sure there are a few flaws but much of what he talks about is interesting. I loved the structure of it. The way it started out with Prince losing control and then went back to the beginning.
So many people complained about it initially but now that the furor over the title is gone, it can be seen as a nice addition to the Prince library (of course DMSR, DAYS OF WILD, POPLIFE and PURPLE REIGN are the main books to focus on). yeah i forgot that one . not having the book, what other funny bits are there in it? in fact, any funny stories like that abvout prince? obs this has been done before, but new ones always crop up dont they? | |
