Little Richard says he influenced everyone, James Brown, Hendrix, Prince blah blah blah... he wants to take credit for it all, Prince has explored various images over the years but not more that one than anyone else!!!

Harlepolis said: I didn't give it much of a thought till I saw his documentary in some channel last night. Little Richard is very STRICT too when it comes 2 his band, the brotha fines alot if any of them messed up a simple note.
Even his stage presence reminds me alot of Prince 2 some degree mo' than James Brown. The energy he has and the way he acts as if he's "possessed" when he's on stage, reminds me so much of Lil' Man. Only the difference between him and Prince that, Peneman's former band members get recognized when they split-up from him. On the other hand, you wouldn't hear a single breath from Prince's former bandmates. Little Richard opened the door and discovered many people who lasted in this industrey. "Ya'lll ain't never gave me nuthin"... Yes Little Richard definitely is an influence on not only LIL MAN but a whole bunch of other acts... I hate I missed that movie on his life with actor Leon playing him that came out a few years ago..I wonder if it's on DVD/VHS to rent. I remember a Rolling Stone article on him back in early 90's or something like that...in the article they had a black and white photo of his girlfriend in a two-piece at that time.. HAVE MERCY...talking about FIINNNEEE..whew!!! Hey... he may go both ways but that woman was a sho'nuff winner...mercy!!!

He seems to be more influenced by Hendrix especially in the clothes he wears
