(oh no, not another NEWS thread... )

i just listen to NEWS (i think it's quite good, but that's not the topic). i just wonder why the songs all are almost exaktly 14 minutes long. what's the meaning of that? a spiritual meaning maybe (i would guess yes...)?

anybody got infos/opinions?

and, talking about timings, did Prince ever clearify why EMANCIPATION was so... symmetrical (sp?). i read somewhere the concept (3x12, 60min each disc) dated way back into the beginning of time (maybe time itself?), astrology or whatever... very vague again...
