If Prince can do instrumental music, so can The Revolution

I was thinking about the family jamm, and all this talk of Prince (will he or won't he show).

But it got me thinking, If Prince didn't go, What If the Revolution tore it up by doing instrumentals? If Prince can do it, why can't they?

Also, If Prince heard what they could do as an instrumental group, if he'd be more willing to re work with them?
