The film was awful but the album does have some real gems on it (J.I.R., T.I.T.T, S.W.S.A.T, & Release It) but most of the non-Prince tracks do dilute it, except george and Prince on We Can Funk!

If you think G.B. could have been improved through the exclusion of certain track imagine what could have been done with Emancipation. That album could easily have been his most successful release in years if he would have been more selective and made it a double or even a long single album. What do people think about this?

Agreed. I still like most of it anyway.
