BUT... I have a gossip column clipping from around 1989/90 that says (translated from Danish): Grammy winner Sinead O'Connor visited college Prince, who is the man behind her greatest hit "Nothing Compares 2 U". He would not let her leave, she tells, and he laughed, when she asked him to call a cab. Not until about half five in the morning did Prince lock his visitor out of his heavily guarded palace in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Also, I recall reading a story in one of my friends' collection of Prince clippings about Prince wanting to beat Sinead up in a parking lot and that she was fearful for her life. I think the confrontation ended with Prince's own bodyguards keeping him at bay, so Sinead could escaspe, but I really don't recall the specifics. Anybody else out there who knows the details of this story? (I may not have remembered it correctly - just the basic gist: That he wanted to beat her up in a parking lot.)

I dont know how accurate this story is but i'll tell you it anyway.
I had a summer job a few years back working at a Butlins holiday camp in Ayr,Scotland and one of the guys that i worked with was friendly with Kirsty Hume before she became a supermodel.
When he found out that i was a Prince fan he told me this story that Kirsty had told him.
Kirsty was doing a photo shoot in Monaco and her and her model friends went out to a resturaunt one evening,Sly Stallone was there and a few other famous people, well anyway "apparently" Prince and a few other people came in later on and ended up joining the company of Kirsty and her model friends.
After the meal everyone was sitting chatting when Prince asked one of the models to sit beside him,she did, then Prince leaned over to her and whispered something in her ear.
As soon as he leaned back the girl jumped out of her seat and ran out the restuarant crying.About 10 minutes later her agent came running in and started shouting at Prince who just sat there laughing until his minders "escorted" the gentleman away.
It had turned out that Prince had apparently beckoned her over only to tell her that she was not the best looking model he had ever seen.

i must stress i dont know if this is true or not but i thought it was a kinda cool story at the time.

That is the problem. Know one has ever said anything about Prince having problems with homosexuals back in the pre JW days.

It is not like he did know Wendy and Lisa were gay when he hired them.

Well, maybe I missed it, but I didn't see an answer to CherrieMoonKisses'original question. I think the answer must be NO! Everyone who responded either referred to a movie role or an unsubstantiated report that someone made that he had dissed them or someone else. Reports I've heard suggest that he's very respectful to women who have come in contact with him. So my response is just as valid as theirs.
