The "name that tune" topic got me looking at the DTT lyrics for Kiss extendted version.

I always thought the lyric was:

"my love, will be your FOOL" (vs. " your food " according to DTT).

"Food" rhymes with "'tude", better than "fool", so it's more than likely correct.


Also, in the extension, I thought they were saying:

"everybody will have short hair, next time ." (vs. what DTT says Everybody will have short hair
Let’s cut it, mama! (Pretty mama) .

It's actually "Everybody will have short hair, next...year" They cut their hair after the Purple Rain tour - not for any record - just because they were done with that style after all the touring and the trouble it was to deal with hairdressing for every show. "Kiss" was recorded soon after the tour in the summer of 1985.

Also I took it as a reference to the fact they all cut their for Around The World in A Day (although that was an album before Parade from which Kiss is from!)
