Muffy

O.K. here is the only thing I gotta say. Prince is putting out different ,sophisticated jazz tunes. O.K. so he wants his Fans to feel his direction he is moving in. However yes some fans may not Want to Calm or Mature themselves and may wanna stay Wild and hear some faster tunes. Generally speaking most Young People like things Fast and Rock is where they lean. Prince is into Romance more of the WBLS Quite Storm kinda feel. He would have to get himself a Sophisticated Young Person to become a new fan or just with older fans expect them to have Mellowed or Changed also. If they haven't well I suppose they gotta be Satisfied with Old Records and videos.

Muffy

Also he has changed from the Bad Boy from Purple Rain it seems in the sense he doesn't Mind allowing Younger guys to take over the Spotlight. I have heard from many people that He doesn't Care anymore because he has Millions of Dollars in the bank. Who knows if his Hunger has calmed and all or what. I just Wish he would make a Massive Comeback and Freak the American Public Again. I Know he Can.

To be honest, though I'm not a jazz fan, and I don't get in to the "jam" sessions, I will admit I prefer this Prince as oppose to the Prince of a few years ago (just before the symbol), where he lost me completely, got too commercially weird (too much P vs. MJ, oh bother). I prefer him in a class of his own. And if he's content with not being out there again in the top 10 (especially considering what is on those charts, ughkkkh!!) taking into consideration the 80s are dead, no matter how much we want them back (music's no fun anymore, seems like it's a lot of anger, depression and underage girlie jiggling.),being more a respected musician with a few new uncharted territorites to explore then I am happy to be a part of his growth and I am excited to see where it leads, that's the Prince I fell for and that's the Prince I'll stand by.

Of course it's his life to lead, and we would all like him to live his life and run his career the way HE wants.

But speaking personally, are you happy with where Prince is in his career right now, or do you feel it could have gone down differently?

It's definately "ALL GOOD" 2 me as a change. We all know how prince likes 2 change, like a chameleon...Plus he's a gemini & we get "bored" easily with the same ol', same ol'...I guess thats why i need not have 2 play alot of what other artists put out, unless it's from "back in the day". He easily satisfies my "EAR" with "EXCELLENCE". No one compares, however I DO have "other" artists I love 2 listen 2 as well, but yes, I am satisfied with where he IS NOW musically.
May the BELLS ring 4 U even when ur not in love. hug kisses

One must respect anyone's decision on how they live or what they choose. Since I started posting here... one mention I have always said, "I appreciate/respect all that Prince decides to put forth". heart rose

Do I wish for more... why yes. peace I can never tire seeing Prince perform live, ever. heart

Life is exactly the way it should be whether we like it or not. rose
