Just wondering. What do you think?? I just got finished watching the New Prince DVD and wondered how an entire album of Jazz standards from Prince would sound. Anyone have any standards they wish they could hear P do??? "Quiet nights and quiet stars" would be cool.
"Fever wouldn't be bad, even though Madonna did it first. I know most listeners of Prince love him for the funk, but history lesson in Jazz for young people couldn't hurt. Maybe that's what he should have done with News.(His new CD) | |

I like Prince's funked up version of Glen Miller's "In The Mood" on the 'Sacrifice Of Victor' video.

Prince is never gonna do any covers album of any standards of any style of music. if there was a scheme that guaranteed him no money then it would be that one. i hope he doesn't do it. ever. | |
