Sorry to be Uncool.......

Well I know that this will not please many but i really didnt dislike the LA DVD. If I would have any complaints maybe I would say lose Nikka Costa and Maceo Parker and just focus more on the Prince tunes. The Filming didnt bother me, I can tell that Prince had this shot on DV probably an XL 31 and used a DAT recorder for the Vocals. The cuts may seem choppy but this was not shot on film, there is no way he did that. The complaint of the sound, well thats not really an issue aot of people dont have that whole giant hook up so im sure thats why thats not an option. But the performances are tops, I would have liked some NPG band interviews like RAVE had but hey Im happy with what got. I mean I have spent 30 bucks on Bootleg videos and they look like shit and they are filmed by some guy who cant hold the camera straight or get closeups when needed, or shut up while he's filming. So I am going to be uncool and tell U all that I was satisfied with the DVD but obviously want more, like I always do with PRINCE, but Im going to say I was ripped off or this was a waste like so many others, just dont see that.

I'm probably the "uncool" one for daring to say I don't like The Black Album.
I DON'T WANT TO BE NORMAL,because normal is part of the status quo, which I don't want to be a part of- Tori Amos

Anxiety

I expected some blur on the big screen last night given that it was basically a projection of the DVD, which wasn't created for the big screen, and even though I hear a lot of negative feedback about how it plays on the small screen, I'll have to reserve judgment until I can watch it on my own idiot box. Meanwhile, I have to say I really enjoyed the content - the music and the performance was top notch, and I wasn't bored for one moment. They could have lost the cheesy graphics and montages, but that's just something you hvae to put up with when Prince releases something on video.

AAAHHH!!!

NOOO!!!

It can't be true! It just can't!

Black album is probably my all-time favorite.
When I first heard it, I hated it.
Now, I don't understand why.
