My mom stole my N.E.W.S CD And I want it back :Fit:
We where listening 2 it in the car on our way 2 Canada, she dug it alot and ask me if I could borrow it, which sure did shock tha hell out of me So I thought nothing of it and gave it 2 her, I was excited she feeling it , especailly knowing the fact that alot of die hard Prince fans has been giving it flack. Well that was about a week ago, Since then she hasn't giving it back 2 me and every time I ask her 4 it, she always have a excuse like... "uhm... I just need 2 listen 2 it a little bit more" Of course i'm not going 2 arguing with my mom, I'm glad she's enjoying the new CD in all ... but dayum can't I get my CD back now Cananada edit [This message was edited Wed Aug 13 5:13:03 PDT 2003 by DigitalLisa]

Hmm, here's a kind of flip side 2 that story. My folks went on holiday a few days ago and they wanted 2 borrow some of my CDs 2 take with them. Included in those that I pulled out was Sign 'O' The Times. I left all the CDs on our chest downstairs 4 them 2 take in the morning. When I woke up later, they had gone and taken the CDs with them, leaving just 1 behind...it was Sign 'O' The Times.

my dad was in hospital a few weeks ago with a ruptured testicle. Anyway i decided to take in my cd player and a few of his cd's but i stuck in my copy of Dream Factory. When i went in to see him the same night he was listening to it. i said to him "so now ure musically educated" and he replied its the only one that distracted him from the pain. I dont know if he meant it in a kind way. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!

It took me 17 years to convert my dad into a Prince lover. Last year I played him the first CD of the Crystal Ball album and he liked it. Then I gave him a copy of TRC and he loved it. Then I give him a copy of The Vault and he really dug it. Then I made him a 3CD compilation of Prince tracks and he can't stop playing them.
Back in the 80's he never had any respect for Prince. He didn't dig the image and lyrical content and based on that he totally dismissed him. I could not understand why, because the music was great and normally we agree on most artists. But finally my dad opened his mind and now he is a fan. Ain't that a cool thing??? RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...

My momz is more on the Luther Vandross and AL Jerarue side I use to be like ugh mama please... but now that I'm matured in music

I think that there is a least one track for every non-fan that could change their mind about him. If that makes sense.
