2 Dr. Fink : You did’t know a synth can be abused? Fink can
3 Bobby Z : the tightest kick-drum ever!

Who’d better not joined:
1 Rosie Gaines : she really annoys me
2 Tommy Barbarella : ... sex symbol???
3 Sheila E : her reputation was too big, so she had the have a major part of the show ... I found the drum too
dominant and really dislike a drumsolo (Excuses to those offended)

Favorite member: Sheila E.---even though I felt that,in 1987, she had her own excellent album that she needed to promote.


Least favorite member: Sonny T.---yes,he could play but by the mid-90s,his presence became too overbearing,not too mention his off-key singing

1.tony m...(sure i liked him on gett off...just cuz i thought the 23 position line fit his cocky ass perfectly!)
2.brooks (he aggravated the hell outta me!)
3.tommy barbarella
4.morris hayes (he and tommy were solid musicians but i like
accessing the whole package of what a person brings to the
table...they didn't do nothin for me outside of their
chops.
5.renato neto...he's good...but U gotta do more than just
be able to play. (plus fink and lisa's playing is more
my style)
6.kirby johnson...kirby's a nice dude...just not outstanding
doing anything!

ok...now for my faves!
i hate rating these folk cuz they're all BAD as bad can be!

1.dez ...too cool...damn good guitarist (plus height wise
he fit perfectly with prince)

2.sheila...she's gotta be something cuz i really was tempted
to chose andre second. i dig "dre" that much...
but sheila's got everything.talent,personality,
sex appeal and she's always had a good thang with prince.
3. andre...prince's brother from high school...dre got the
shaft...he's a sgood as his old friend...all i gots to do is
check out my dirty mind era video tapes and i know dre
was one funky MF!
4.boni...i loved her. the voice...gospel shouter par excellence...the girl died way too soon
5.lisa...i don't have nothin' bad to say about ms. coleman
6.fink...one great piano player
7.eric leeds...mr. madhouse is my boy
8.michael bland..3 tons of funky drumming
9.rosie gaines...(i had to chose boni over her and it was
a tough battle...cuz i love ms. gaines a lot.)
10.brownmark...underrated.


i know...where's wendy?
i like her. but the people after lisa i prefer more.
her personality in the band is what i like more than her
musicianship. (which is pretty good)

i know mark never said much...but i was checking out what
he was playing and it was DAMn good.
