Has anyone seen Prince: Live at the Aladdin on DVD yet... ...I was wondering if someone had an advanced copy...and what they thought of it?? Since it's not a full concert video, is it choppy looking--I mean, the editing?? "Just like the sun, the Rainbow Children rise."

The camera work blows. Amateurish, to say the least. At least from what I've seen on NPGMC. If prince.org were to be made idiot proof, someone would just invent a better idiot. | |

i saw some of it when they showed it at paisley those two nights last month...the editing's awright, thankfully not vomitrocious like the editing in the rave dvd.

Prince put it up on his 2 huge video screens in the "NPGMC" room last month at Paisley Studios ( in lieu of his NOT performing I guess? ) Thurs. & Fri. nites, both. The songs we all him do at vegas was: WHOLE LOTTA LOVE, EVERLASTING NOW, GOTTA A BROKEN HEART AGAIN, Maybe a "few" more on Fri. nite. One of the screens looked alot better than the other. Clearer, etc. but the filming of it was not the best, professionally speaking. It jerked U around some, but hey, It was prince in vegas & he was jammin...I'm definately purchasing it. May the BELLS ring 4 U even when ur not in love.   | |
