Chasing

I was there, came all the way form London - and was it worth the trip - that was an awesome concert, possibly the best show I have ever seen him do, he ripped into Muse, and the vocal/piano set was spellbinding... but for me the most amazing song he did was Strange Relationship, unbelievable!

I did not make Le Bataclan, being from London, I had no idea where the aftershow would be, and instead walked back from Le Zenith to Gard de Norde but got some yummy pizza on the way back, and just talked all the way to my companion about what an amazing performance Prince had put on!

I also saw him at the Appollo in London, but Le Zenith pissed all over that show!

Eye was there;
there was no soundcheck @ the bataclan
only people struggling to stay awaken listening to Silicon for hours before he came on, while fighting to keep your spot at front row

IT SEEMS THERE WAS A SOUNDCHECK AT LE ZENITH !!!

Prince débute "Sweet Baby" au piano, puis continue avec "With You".

I was there! Flew all the way from Chicago, IL with my pal April! We saw the show in Oberhausen, Germany the night before then high-tailed it down the Autobahn and made it back to Paris for ONA at Le Zenith and the aftershow at The Bataclan!

There was a long line outside the Bataclan and things seemed kinda chaotic! I had no problems though... I just walked right in! Damn Americans! Prince's b-guard Trevor looked up and saw me and started tripping! He had that "girl, what r YOU doing here " look on his face! omg I got the same look from Prince's DJ! I asked him to play a specific Prince song for me while we waited for P and the band to come out, and for sure - for sure, dude played it for me! That aftershow was arguably the best aftershow I have ever seen Prince play!

A CDR of the Bataclan? Remember, bootlegs are forbidden fruit!! no no no!

I was at Bataclan ... i got my drivers license just 2 days before the show, and to celebrate i drove from Amsterdam to Paris and back to be there smile

In other news; there's great quality recordings of both the Zenith soundcheck and show, and the Bataclan performance.

So far, sounds like us... especially your observation of April's height! She is SOOO not tall!! We were surrounded by a lot of people... don't know if any of them could be considered as being "with us"! We felt like we were with EVERYBODY! I'll need to take a few French lessons before my next visit to Paris though! The language barrier was somewhat intimidating for me! Even still, that entire experience was awesome! Paris is a beautiful city, and seeing Prince there was a like a dream!
