She Gave Her Angels I just listened to this song. Anyone know what this song is about? I know it says in the Crystal Ball booklet that its a true story about Mayte. But what the hell is the story. She gave her angels...WHO gave WHO angels and for WHAT?

Always been curious... The story goes; the first time Prince and Mayte were separated (I believe she had to fly somewhere for a promotional appearance or something) after their wedding in February 1996, Mayte 'gave' Prince her angels to watch over him 'til she returned. A reference to those angels was also made during the actual wedding, when someone remarked how vacant one side of the church was and Mayte said something about how that made more room for their angels. Girly stuff. | |
