I heard that Prince remixed this song and it was released as a single in 1989.

Yes, I have it.

The song was written by Jeffrey Cohen and Narada Michael Walden., and recorded by Aretha and james Brown.

The original was released in 1989 on her, 'Through The Styorm' on Arista, and the 12" single release of the track featured a remix by Prince under the pseudonym, Paisley Park.

I seem to recall that it was one of those duets that was recorded where the artists never met - Brown may even have been in jail around about this time! I presume that the material was simply sent to Prince to work on for the remix.
