Miles Davis and Prince video

Has anyone seen the 12/31/87 New Years Eve video of Prince and Miles Davis? The reviews of it sound amazing. How are the quality and the sound?
The expanded version of my book PRINCE and The Purple Rain Era Studio Sessions 1983-1984 was released in November 2018. (www.amazon.com/gp/product/1538114623/ref=dbs_a_def_rwt_bibl_vppi_i0) or www.facebook.com/groups/1...104195943/

The quality and sound are both very good, but the Miles Davis part is a let down. He comes out for a few minutes and blows a few ordinary notes on top of "...Beautiful Night"

"Somebody tell me I ain't got the funkiest band in showbuisness! We'll take all comers, we don't mind, we don't discriminate. Just look at Miko's pants... just the pants alone!"

It's worth getting just for that line lol

I'm a Miles and Prince collector, so this concert means a lot to me, but like lovemachine said, Miles only plays for a few minutes, and it's not that fantastic.

its alright. sound & performance. miles has definitely
played better. but to me being an old MD man i was still
thrilled to see Ole dude blow his horn.

and the tape is worth having just bcuz of the look of admiration plastered on prince's face!

the way he looked at MD told me all i needed to know.

(anybody who wanna see miles in his hey-day see any of
his 50's performance tapes.

mannn...that cat was 2cool,then!

Miles was THE MAN,but I think that he was the only human who could have played Yoda in the Star Wars movie.

Toejam-

What do you think is the best MD and Prince item? How many of them could there be and how would one get a copy of the PP show?

Thanx

Check out MD's live cover of 'Movie Star'.

Well, the only Miles and Prince stuff (that I know) is:

1.Can I Play With U - studio track originally intended for Tutu. Pretty nice
2.Sticky Wicked - released on Chaka Khan's CK album
3.The PP show (a little fairy dropped it in front of my door one day...)
4.Miles also covered Movie Star in many of his concerts in the late 80s. The only official one released is on the Miles In Montreux box set.
