Please Help - Prince song query for Mother's Day in Thailand Hi!
It's nearly Mother's Day in Thailand and at the school where I work the teachers are posting on a board poems, lyrics etc. featuring people writing about their mother, or mothers about their children. Are there any Prince songs where he speaks about his mother? It doesn't matter if the lyrics are dark. Please, please help if u can, thank you.  | |

Duh! Silly me. Thanks a lot princess, I might use this. It's a little strange because it's written by a man, but Prince has written so many songs for women I guess it's ok. Does he sing this song or did he just write it for someone else? I always laugh when I listen to unreleased demo tracks where Prince is singing from a woman's point of view. | |

The song is on the album "Girl 6", soundtrack from the movie. And Chaka Khan did sing it a lot. | |
