Does anyone have a complete list of tracks released as singles by Prince?

I kinda lost track after TGRES, what with radio-only singles and such.

The Last December, was this released in Japan, and was She Loves Me 4 Me released to radio?

Does anyone have a complete list of all singles released in all major territories - USA/UK/EURO/JAP?



I'm looking at sleevographia now and see a few releases like Trust (Hong Kong) and Joy In Repetition (Russia) that I'm not sure I would include in a singles discography.

Wedding Feast was released in Ethiopia.

It's probably more likely that the mixes would have
ended up on the b-side of Face Down or another unreleased
single from Emancipation.

Sleep Around was going to be a single as well, but as far
as I'm aware there were never any promos made for it, so
I didn't include it in my list.

I remember was the first new Prince release I bought as a fan, and my first copy (a cassette) had a sticker saying "contains the singles Sexy MF, My Name Is Prince, 7 & The Continental".

I was always kinda bummed because it was one of my favourite tracks on the album, I thought it had single written all over it!

And the video was shot on the D&P tour wasn't it in Japan - so it was definately considered single material from early on.

So many could've been singles, I think Prince is one of the artists who is very mis-represented by his single choices.

Oh well.

I agree, ever since the success of The Most Beautiful Girl
In The World, he seems to have an obsession for mainly
releasing ballads. A lot of the harder edged and more
interesting tracks never get as far as being singles.
