For all the talk about the never finished/released/compiled
"High" project, I'm surprised no one ever wonders which cuts
were put aside for the NPG project that went the same way.

I think the album was entitled "Peace" at one point, wasn't
it? [Boris, help us out here].

I've made a bit of a tracklist but the album doesn't work
very well. Probably due to the lack of standout songs and
the way a lot of these songs are in the same vein.

But anyway, if anyone can come up with a better tracklist
please share.

Take 'Cybersingle' away and the album is already much improved.

as for the song 'peace' i chopped the beginning and end of that off to remove that silly tit yammering away.Lots better!

There was an NPG album by the name of Peace originally advertised on the official site. A tracklist was never published (if one ever existed?)

Of the titles you have listed:

'Northside' and 'Peace' were 'NPG releases'.

'Sadomasochistic Groove', 'Y Should Eye Do That When Eye Can Do This?' and 'One Song' (and, I think, 'Cybersingle') were ' releases'.

'Judas Smile', 'Silicon', 'Props 'N Pounds', 'Jukebox With A Heartbeat' and '2045 Radical Man' were 'Prince releases'.

I believe 'Paradigm' was 'George Clinton and (or with) '

I found it doubtful that all of these tracks were ever planned for an album under the 'NPG' moniker.

That's why I compiled them onto a so called NPG album.

was more of a finished product than "Peace". Since it
had been mentioned quite often and Prince dropped some
titles for tracks that were to go on there.

"Peace", I think never came further than a concept to
wrap around the song of the same name.

Still, it's a nice title for an NPG release. Even if it
home-made

Unfortunately, the tracklisting for 'Peace' has never surfaced.
So all we have to go on are the tracks that were
credited to The NPG during the first year of NPGMC,
and they were...

Peace
Nothside
The Daisy Chain
Gamillah

What other tracks might have been included on the album
we may never know.

Sadomasochistic Groove comes from NPS sessions doesn't it?

One thing I know is if you put Y Should Eye Do That When Eye Can Do This?, Cybersingle, and 2045 Radical Man back-to-back, they flow into each other. They sound like they were sequenced for an album. Check it out!
